Alameda: A Community of Neighbors

Located in inner Northeast Portland, Alameda is an inclusive community where neighbors support each other, and care deeply about the livability of our neighborhood.

The Alameda Neighborhood Association is a volunteer-led organization. We help keep neighbors informed, address issues, and provide advocacy. We come together through meetings and events that foster a sense of community and support the well-being of our neighborhood.

Alameda Neighborhood Association meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7 pm at Fremont United Methodist Church, 2620 NE Fremont St. All are welcome to attend! Meetings are a great way to find out about what’s going on in the neighborhood.

We Want Your Feedback!

The survey will only take 5 minutes, and respondents will be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift card at Garden Fever.

The Alameda Neighborhood Association is conducting its first ever Community Life Survey, and we hope you’ll be part of it!  We’re interested in learning how you feel about Alameda and how you interact with your neighbors. Survey responses will be collected between March 10 and April 24. Thank you in advance from the ANA Board – we value your opinion and hope you’ll use this opportunity to tell us how you feel about Alameda!

Century Plaques ARE here!

Is your home at least 100 years old? If so, you can celebrate it with an Alameda commemorative plaque!

The Alameda Neighborhood Association is now offering Century Home Plaques that can be attached to your house or displayed inside on a shelf or mantel.

The heavy cast, polished bronze plaques are 2-½ inches tall and 10 inches wide, and will be similar to those sold in the Laurelhurst neighborhood (see photo above).

We are currently accepting orders for homes built in 1926 or earlier. For info and ordering instructions visit our Alameda Century Plaques page.
