About the ANA

The Alameda Neighborhood Association is run by neighbors for neighbors.

We advocate for smart policies, take action on neighbors’ concerns, facilitate communication about neighborhood issues, and host events to bring residents together. Our goal is to help residents feel more connected and to work together to create a livable, thriving neighborhood. Alameda is more than a place, it’s a community.

Our events include: A spring cleanup at the Madeleine School, summer Movies in the Park at Wilshire Park, neighborhood history presentations by local historian Doug Decker, and more!

Examples of our advocacy include our efforts to maintain funding for graffiti abatement services. Letter to City Leadership  Other neighborhoods joined with us and successfully opposed this cut.
